Survey: Jesuit Urban Ministries

Findings from Interviews with Ministry Leaders

In the summer of 2009 and again in the summer of 2010, a working group from the Jesuit Conference’s national consultation on inner-city populations — including staff from the Jesuit Conference, province and ministry leadership and researchers from Jesuit universities — interviewed leaders of Jesuit inner-city ministries to find out how the economic recession has affected their ministries and they people they serve, as well as to get a sense of how the ministries and the communities have been responding.

Below you will find links to several categories of findings encountered in the ministry interviews. Where relevant, there are links to research and resources related to issues raised during the survey interviews.
