Since the beginning of this summer, I have been auditing a language course in one of the classes in the building where this sculpture of Fr James is visibly kept. Each time I pass by especially during break, I have always stopped to admire this great Jesuit guy. Incidentally today, I came across his picture with an article written about him and his great contributions to humanity. As an Education student I think it is such a great privilege that this interdisciplinary course that I am taking this summer in another department and school has brought closer to yet another great Jesuit of our time. God bless you Fr James.

Congratulations to Fr. Skehan on a well earned birthday. An awesome person to be sure. Coincidentally, my father was named James as well...and my sister is a grad of B.C. (1960). Might we possibly be from the same clan? It would sure make me proud just to share the same name.

Sincerely,
Bud Skehan, Holy Cross '57
