The Jesuit Conference of the United States has an app for the iPhone (Android version coming soon). This App can be downloaded for free from the iTunes App Store (click on the image below), and works with any iPhone or iPod Touch that’s connected to the Internet.

The App helps people find Jesuit institutions, see the latest news from NationalJesuitNews.com, and view Jesuit prayers and information documents. Here are the main features of the App:

Locations

You can find Jesuit apostolates – parishes, retreat centers, colleges and universities – in the Locations section of the app. You can also easily find directions and contact information for any Jesuit institution, or search for apostolates by name, around your current location, or any address you enter.

News

All the latest news stories from the National Jesuit News are displayed in a ‘News’ section of the App. You can tap on a news story to view the full story, share the link with friends or open the story in your browser.

Prayer

You can view prayers, spirituality documents and background information regarding the Society of Jesus.

The “Jesuit Connection” App was developed by the Jesuit Conference of the United States, in collaboration with Midwestern Mac, LLC. The App uses information from the Jesuit.org website to display apostolate, news, and prayer information.

Frequently Asked Questions

I found some out of date information. How can I help get that information updated?

If you are a representative from a Jesuit institution listed in the app, please send the updated information to the webmaster. Please be sure to include your contact information in your email.

Will there be an App for Android phones, like the Droid, Evo, or HTC Touch? And will it be available on the Android Marketplace?

We are currently building a version of our app for Android.

The App won’t run on my iPhone or iPod Touch. Can you help me get it running?
