Policy and Ethics (CHPE)
Among other
issues, the CHPE examines disparity of health care issues and also
innovative technologies to deliver health care in underserved
countries.
Institute for Latin
American Concerns (ILAC)
Primary health
care education, research and delivery. This collaborative learning
center directly applies health care principles and services (medical,
dental, and even specialized care) in rural, underserved areas of the
Dominican Republic. Programs have also developed for law
students.
Justice
and Peace Studies Program
While not an
officially designated Center, this interdisciplinary program offers an
undergraduate major in Justice and Society. Director Roger Bergman is
also generating research for a book on Catholic Social Learning and
hosts an annual public forum The Markoe-DePorres lecture.
Kripke Center for Religion
and Society
Primary research, public
forums on issues related to religion, society and inter-religious
harmony. The Center is a member of the Council of Centers on
Jewish-Christian relations.

Center works with diverse groups to frame concrete and achievable

Woodstock Theological
Center
The Woodstock Theological Center
engages in theological and ethical reflection on topics of social,
economic, business, scientific, cultural, religious, and political
importance. The Center does research, conducts conferences and
seminars, and publishes books and articles. Drawing on the Roman
Catholic tradition, the Woodstock Center is ecumenically open,
multi-disciplinary, and collaborative with, among others, the business
community, government, religious groups, universities, other research
centers, and the media. The Woodstock Center aims to be attentive to
Scripture's concern for solidarity with those most in need. Its work is
a particular instance of the contemporary mission of the Society of
Jesus: the service of faith through the promotion of
justice.

Justice Initiative
This Center is located
in the law school and recently hosted an international RJI conference
regarding victims of political violence. Founder Justice Janine Geske
also teaches and practices restorative justice principles in area
prisons bringing together victims and offenders.

This Marquette
Center is based in DC and lists its mission to “promote mutual
understanding between the United States and other countries.” In
addition to providing study and internships for US student leaders
interested in public policy, the Center has trained and educated over
300 leaders from Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda, Mali, and Nigeria
since 1995.

The
Joan and Ralph Lane Center for Catholic Studies and Social Thought
advances the scholarship and application of the Catholic intellectual
tradition in the Church and society with an emphasis on social
concerns. We sponsor academic programs, research and public
praxis to promote and engage Catholic social thought especially in
response to contemporary issues in order to fashion a more just and
humane

Since 1987,
Heartland Center has served the people of Northwest Indiana through
research on social issues, educational programs, leadership training,
and community coalition building. Its mission is to work in solidarity
with all segments of society, especially the poor, to construct a more
just and human society. Since its founding, Heartland Center has
produced a number of major studies and briefs designed to provide
churches, community groups, governments, and businesses with quality
social analysis on significant regional issues that enables them to
work towards sound social policy and
action.

Since
1971, the Center of Concern has offered moral vision and provided
effective leadership in the struggle to end hunger, poverty,
environmental decline, and injustice in the United States and around
the world. Our goal is to provide individuals and organizations with
basic tools to address these universal questions: What are the root
causes of human suffering in the world today? How can we change the
system to increase social justice and offer hope? We provide reliable
information and analysis on development issues, practical alternatives
to current development policies and practical suggestions for personal
action, and faith reflections on this work for
justice.
