Ignatian contemplation and reflective prayer can help guide us through the season. Here are some online Advent resources in the tradition of Ignatian spirituality:

Ignatianspirituality.com offers links to other Advent resources on the web, and its dotMagis blog is producing an Advent video series. Each Sunday a new video reflection will be posted.

Loyola Press has created an Advent website with printable and online calendars, prayers, an interactive retreat and more.

Creighton University’s Online Ministries presents “Praying Advent 2012,” which has daily Advent prayers, resources and reflections.

The New England Province Jesuits have a podcast for each week of Advent, with reflections by Jesuits on the intersecting themes of Advent and Ignatian spirituality.

The Missouri Province Jesuits offer an Advent Examen seven-day prayer cycle. The Examen has an individual prayer for each day of the week, which can be repeated for each week of Advent.

Jesuit Refugee Service/USA has an online retreat with daily reflections that focus on “prayerful storytelling” about refugees through the lens of the Spiritual Exercises.
