Holy Cross Community Performs Day of Service

More than 300 students, faculty and staff from the College of the Holy Cross participated in the 14th annual student-organized Holy Cross Cares Day on March 26.

Volunteers performed service activities that included painting, raking and picking up trash at schools, churches, and parks throughout the City of Worcester.

In addition, more than 250 Holy Cross alumni participated in Holy Cross Cares Day through volunteer efforts in their local communities. Alumni volunteer cities included Worcester; Boston; Hartford, Conn.; New York City, Syracuse, N.Y.; Chicago; and Naples, Fla. This marked the first year that Holy Cross Cares Day was organized on a national scale.
