Saint Louis University‘s health law program has been named the best in the nation by health law scholars, according to U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Graduate Schools for 2012″ rankings.

“Our students enter the competitive legal workforce with a valuable background and training to assist the community with important legal health matters,” Tim Greaney, J.D., co-director of SLU’s Center for Health Law Studies, said. “We’re proud to be educating lawyers who can make an impact on an issue facing millions of Americans.”

This is the eighth consecutive year the health law program has secured the top spot; SLU has been ranked in the top three since health law was first ranked as a specialty more than a decade ago. [Saint Louis University]
